Madeleine York-CEO Madeleine York has been in management and training for over nineteen years. Her tenure with Reedie & Company began in 1992. Later as Vice President of Reedie-York & Associates, Inc. Vice President of Reedie & Company in Houston, and most recently as CEO of York Career Development, she has acquired specialized skills in coaching managers and executives to achieve both personal and career goals. As a trained mediator, Madeleine is able to draw from these skills when working in the areas of communication and conflict resolution. She has a special talent for helping individuals in transition deal with the emotional issues of the challenge of change and to be able to find good in a difficult situation. With her husband, she has written and published Using Your Inner Power to Find Meaningful Work. Workshops Madeleine has developed include a Strategic Life Planning Program, a Personal Wellness module, a Communication Model and an innovative program called Cross Gender Communication. She is also an Insights Accredited Practitioner conducting workshops in all areas of professional and leadership development. Team Effectiveness, group facilitations and one-on-one coaching are all part of her background when working with executives and managers to achieve a higher level of productivity. All of these initiatives have been successfully presented to groups and individuals to enhance their interpersonal skills, increased personal knowledge and understanding of fundamental issues relating to work and personal development. She also has a special understanding of the needs of women as they become forces of leadership in the corporate environment. Madeleine has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas-Arlington and she has completed graduate coursework at St. Edwards University and Southwest Texas State University. She was a graduate assistant at Southwest Texas and taught at Austin Community College. Madeleine is the co-chair of the Leadership Committee for the Houston Galleria Chamber of Commerce and previously held the same position for The Leadership Forum in Austin, Texas. Madeleine is active in the Women’s Business Enterprise Association and serves on several committees with that organization. She is also a member of the Houston Organization Development Network.
